Photo-A-Day 2013: Week 27

It’s been at least six weeks since I’ve posted an update to my Photo-A-Day project. Hence, there’s plenty of catching up to do. That means it’s definitely time to get started! The week of July 1-7 was festive all around, and also provided some visual opportunities to look at various shapes and textures.

Remember, to see any image full size, just click right on it! Let’s take a look at the photos from the first week of July. Enjoy!

Photo-A-Day 2013: Top 25 Outtakes — January Through June

Since I’ve fallen behind a bit on updating my Photo-A-Day project — not behind on taking photos, mind you, but merely on working them up and getting them into the blog — I figured I’d drop this post with 25 selected outtakes from the first six months of 2013. These images were all in consideration for best photo of their given day, but fell short. They were worked up and ready to go, so I present them here in a gallery format. To see each image at full size, simply click on it in the gallery!

Enjoy!

Photo-A-Day 2013: Week 26

Ah, a week at home. And a Dodger homestand to boot. Not just any Dodger homestand, but the one that turned around what had been a dismal 2013 season. Let’s take a look at the week that was June 24-30.

24-JUN-2013: With the 30-game ticket plan we snagged for this season, this Dodger Stadium view is one of the defining ones for my summer of 2013.

27-JUN-2013: The week the Dodger season changed. And this, perhaps, the key moment: Yasiel Puig's 2-run single before a standing, sellout crowd lifts LA into a lead over the Phils they wouldn't relinquish.
