Along with my Lyric of the Day (#LOTD2013) project on Twitter (see today’s for an example), another project I’ve taken on for 2013 is a “Photo of the Day,” which is going to appear here on TomRants either weekly or semi-monthly, depending on my workload. I’m always looking to improve my photography skills, and seeking out an image each day is a great way to do that. Some of these will be very specific to the day at hand, and others will just be something that caught my eye.
So, without further ado, here’s Week 1 of 2013:
1 JAN 2013: Night falls on downtown on the first day of 2013 in this glance from my home office window.
2 JAN 2013: Back to work! And that started with cleaning my office desk.
3 JAN 2013: Dad’s first visit to Galen Center brought USC’s first Pac-12 win.
4 JAN 2013: It’s been a while since I hit up the old Western Ave. location.
5 JAN 2013: The calm before 6,500 runners took over DTLA for the inaugural New Year’s Race.
6 JAN 2013: The view coming up the escalator of the new City Target downtown.
7 JAN 2013: Just one of our many shelves of books, books, books. This one’s pretty much all mine.
