Photo-A-Day 2013: Week 49

The holidays moved into full swing during the week of Dec. 2-8. Between decorating around the house and industry holiday events, there was plenty of “festive” to go around. Remember, to see any image at full size, just click on it!

7-DEC-2013: Thanks to my dad and step-mom, this incredible (and growing) display is possible every holiday season.

8-DEC-2013: About four weeks ago, I had an excellent shot of an Omar Oraby dunk at the other end. This time, he’s dropping one on Boston College. Pe’Shon Howard (far left) seems to enjoy it.

Photo-A-Day 2013: Week 32

Summer was in full swing the week of Aug. 5-11. Between an annual ballgame with friends, an industry party that — at one point — devolved to playing DJ in a Hollywood hotel room, and the rest of the week’s activities, it was a fun one! Let’s take a look at the images.

5-AUG-2013: Yes, someone else took this. But I worked out the camera settings before I gave it to him. Annual Angel game with JY, Dan and BIG.

6-AUG-2013: Late night couch view.

7-AUG-2013: Crazy concert ticket mail delivery today. Shows 2 days apart, 3-plus months away.

8-AUG-2013: Spinning vinyl at a post-party in Hollywood.

9-AUG-2013: L.A. … comes back from 6-0 down in the 7th to win 7-6 against Tampa Bay.

10-AUG-2013: Wandering Sunset Boulevard on a Saturday evening.

11-AUG-2013: Perfect summer Sunday at the University of Southern California.

Photo-A-Day 2013: Top 25 Outtakes — January Through June

Since I’ve fallen behind a bit on updating my Photo-A-Day project — not behind on taking photos, mind you, but merely on working them up and getting them into the blog — I figured I’d drop this post with 25 selected outtakes from the first six months of 2013. These images were all in consideration for best photo of their given day, but fell short. They were worked up and ready to go, so I present them here in a gallery format.
